Magic Speaking is a three-book series that helps learners master elementary level English conversation. The 40 lessons in each book provides students with authentic lauguage targets and plenty of structured practice and review. Using the character from the popular comic series "Magic Adventures", students practice valuable and contextually relevant language that they can apply as soon as they are finished learning! Magic Speaking - Unit Flow

Each unit consists of four lessons.

Lessons 1 and 2 introduce key sentence structures that the students learn and practice. Lesson 3 introduces a useful expression that helps to combine and review the language targets from the first two lessons. Finally, Lesson 4 reviews all the unit language by reading and discussing a fun comic featuring the popular characters from Magic Adventures. Each lesson is divided into four steps.

Step 1. Listen and Learn

Learners are exposed to a sentence structure in a useful context, assisted by audio tracks and helpful images.

Step 2. Listen and Say

Learners practice the language targets through scaffolded repetition and useful natural contexts.

Step 3. Practice Speaking

Learners practice speaking while integrating speaking with reading and writing activities.

Step 4. Role Play

Students practice speaking with their classmates by becoming one of the characters from a helpful comic.
