Plan English as a foreign language at home: use a placement test, choose a course, compare English Wave, e-Library and MetaLibrary, and build a manageable weekly routine. Includes guidance on progress and a separate section for families homeschooling in Poland.
An effective English tutor starts with the learner's needs, plans a clear language goal and checks whether the learner can use that language with less help. Good materials make the work easier to organise, but it is your choice of tasks, feedback and follow-up that turns a coursebook into a useful individual lesson.
